Wavenology v2.2.6 (including EM, EL, BHA, SQUID, Litho, EM IMG and EL IMG) has been released


Improvements & Bug Fixes


  1. 1.Added support for the following new sources in the BHA solver:

  3. ·curve type - arc shape source
  4. ·face type - rectangle shape source
  5. ·face type - ellipse shape source
  6. ·face type - circular cylinder shape source
  7. ·volume type - box shape source
  8. ·volume type - ellipsoid shape source


  9. Users can choose one of the following amplitude distributions for these sources:

  11. ·linear distribution
  12. ·triangle distribution
  13. ·gauss distribution
  14. ·cosine distribution


  15. 2.Added support for more face types in GUI.

Wavenology Free Trial


Free-Trial copy has a period of 30 days, it contains the full package of Wavenology software including electromagnetic and elastodynamic field solvers. Free-trial user need to place a request to WCT first in order to get a download account and a trial license

Wavenology Customer Download


If you are a WCT's customer and are holding an active license of Wavenology EM or Wavenology EL, please click on your purchased product name listed below and a login window will pop up, enter the login information you obtained from WCT sales to download the correct product you've purchased.


Installation

Thank you for using Wavenology. To install the software, please follow the steps listed below:


IMPORTANT: For node locked license, only install the software on the machine that you provided its MAC address to WCT. Installation on unregistered machines will fail in activation.


  1. 1.Download the installation package and the tutorial cases accordingly.
  2. 2.Unzip the downloaded package.
  3. 3.Install the software by double clicking the "SETUP.EXE" file and follow instructions during installation.
  4. 4.Follow the license server configuration manual to finish the initial one-time license activation.
  5. 5.You may want to practice with the tutorial cases by loading the project files stored in the tutorial package. Each case has a folder named "Compare", where you can find reference results to compare with.


Most of the operating systems will have the up-to-date system packages, if in any case the installation of Wavenology is unsuccessful, it might missing some of the system components or requiring compatible patches. For troubleshooting, check the following list to ensure they are installed in the operating system.


  1. 1.Microsoft Windows Installer 4.5.
  2. 2.Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64).
  3. 3.Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86).
  4. 4.Microsoft .NET Framework 4.
